Take a closer look at Crafts in Contemporary Creations – Sri Lanka’s craft heritage revived with design sophistication.

SLDF 2011 will showcase the new face of traditional craft brought forward by projects such as ‘Design for Sustainable Development’ (DFSD) implemented by the Academy of Design. These efforts not only protect the local craft heritage, but also provide new livelihoods, markets and trade links to marginalized communities affected by war and poverty.
